New West Parish WTP Featured at NEWWA Spring Conference

Earlier this month the new West Parish Water Treatment Plant was presented to water professionals from all over New England at the New England Water Works Association's Spring Conference. Deputy Director of Water Operations Christina Jones presented alongside key staff members from Hazen that worked on the plant's design, and described the process of planning for a new plant on the same site as existing ongoing water operations.

The Commission also had a good showing throughout the rest of the conference. Presentations highlighted our cutting-edge work to protect and deliver essential water services, ranging from GIS to safety to watershed protection to the design of the new West Parish Water Treatment Plant. We were excited for the opportunity to share our work and also to learn from our water sector colleagues from across New England.
